Description

This event will include highlights of county, city, and department of transportation (DOT) installations covering common maintenance issues; step-by-step installs including best practices, common install questions, and application limitations; extending culvert life to rusted/corroded inverts with concrete cloth, geosynthetic cementitious concrete mat for Henry County; scour repair application utilizing 2 ton rock bags, Linn County Conservation; channel erosion repair with tied concrete block mat and type 2 turf reinforcement mats with Washington County; and stream bank stabilization on the Des Moines River using onsite material, Iowa Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and Palo Alto County.

Kevin is focused on improving Iowa’s infrastructure through innovative and proven construction products. Kevin works alongside engineers, contractors, and government agencies to provide solutions for projects involving roadway, airport, bridge, waterway, stormwater, and erosion. Recent projects include work with Army Corp, Iowa DOT, Iowa NRCS, Wisconsin DOT, and counties and cities across Iowa.
