Description
Hear from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) about some of the changes in the 11th edition of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways (MUTCD). The content will be a summary of some of the information they provided recently in other national webinars. Iowa is currently working on the adoption of its version of the MUTCD with state supplement(s).
Speaker Bio
Nicole Oneyear is the Safety and Operations Specialist at the FHWA Iowa Division for the past year. As part of her role, she works with the State of Iowa to adopt, implement, and be in substantial conformance with the 11th edition of the MUTCD. Prior to that, she served as a researcher at the Institute for Transportation and worked with the National Center for Rural Road Safety developing and providing rural safety related training.
