Tribal Summit on Cultural Preservation and Transportation
Description
The Iowa Department of Transportation will host the Iowa Tribal Summit on Cultural Preservation and Transportation May 31-June 2, 2017, in Tama, Iowa. The goal of this event is to bring together representatives of Native American tribes and nations with transportation officials and preservationists to discuss and develop effective project consultation.
The previous Iowa Tribal Summit on Cultural Preservation and Transportation was held in 2014. For more information about this event and its outcomes, see the 2014 proceedings.
